DR. DAVID DORFMAN

Doctor David Dorfman is the Chief of Surgery at Pacific Palisades Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Dorfman is one of an elite few surgeons world-wide, double board-certified in both Maxillofacial Surgery and Plastic Surgery. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

In addition, he has advanced training in Facial Plastic Surgery from the prestigious Stanford University Medical Center, Department of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Dorfman earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychobiology with distinction. He then earned his degree in Dentistry from the University of California, Los Angeles with distinction. Dr. Dorfman then enrolled at the University of California, Davis, and received his M.D. medical degree with distinction.

His outstanding academic and clinical achievements earned him a spot in the highly competitive Maxillofacial Surgery specialty program at the University of California, San Francisco where he graduated with distinction.

His outstanding academic and clinical achievements earned him an invitation to the University of California, San Francisco where he completed and excelled in General Surgery in their highly heralded and rigorous post doctoral Surgery Program.

Dr. Dorfman was then invited to attend a comprehensive Plastic Surgery certification at the University of California Davis, where he underwent training in the most advanced reconstructive and cosmetic surgical procedures available.

Dr. Dorfman was then invited to attend the most coveted and prestigious Plastic Surgery training at Stanford Medical Center, Division of Plastic Surgery where he completed additional advanced surgical training in Facial Plastic and Cranial and Facial surgery.

We are most fortunate, at Pacific Palisades Plastic Surgery, to have Dr. Dorfman, here in Los Angeles, serving the greater Los Angeles area and California. Patients flying in from our of state and from abroad can arrange an initial virtual teleconference consultation.

Dr. Keith Hurvitz

DR. KEITH HURVITZ

PLASTIC AND RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGEON

Dr. Hurvitz was recruited by Dr. David Dorfman to join Pacific Palisades Plastic Surgery, due to Dr. Hurvitz’s extensive experience and training in Plastic Surgery and Rhinoplasty. He is board certified and a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Hurvitz serves as Chief of Plastic Surgery at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and is a native of Southern California.

Dr. Hurvitz completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and graduated with Honors. He then moved across town to complete his M.D. medical education at the University of Southern California (USC) School of Medicine.

Dr. Hurvitz graduated from medical school with Highest Distinction at the top of his class, and earned the prestigious Dean’s Scholar award, and was admitted into the coveted Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society.

After completing medical school, he was accepted into the highly sought after Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency program at USC Medical Center Department of Plastic Surgery. This rigorous and comprehensive five-year Surgery Program exposed him to the multiple facets of Facial Surgery.

Dr. Hurvitz is one of a few surgeons world wide that is double board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and the prestigious
American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Hurvitz also serves part-time as a Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of California in Irvine, Department of Plastic Surgery and is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Alpha Omega Medical Honor Society and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.


Dr. Ian Lehr

DR. IAN LEHRER

Dr. Ian Lehrer completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Nassau University Medical Center during which in addition to his specialty training, he completed rotations in plastic surgery, trauma surgery, neurosurgery, surgical and medical intensive care units, anesthesiology, and general surgery. He was also redeployed to care for critically ill patients during the New York COVID-19 pandemic. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. His clinical interests include orthognathic surgery (corrective jaw surgery) and facial cosmetic surgery. Dr. Lehrer maintains hospital privileges at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying all that Southern California offers.
